- Ideas
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager
- Firebase(認証・アナリティクス等)
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple / Apple App Store

- Push

Privacy Policy
Ideas (“the Service”) handles information necessary to provide and improve the Service with the aim of providing users with a safe and reliable experience.
1. Information We Handle
The Service may handle information including:
- Text submitted by users
- Images uploaded by users
- Interactions with AI and Ideas generated through those interactions
- Usage history such as creating, reacting to, sharing, and saving Ideas
- Authentication information associated with Google or Apple sign-in, the authentication provider, and Service-specific account identifiers
- Ideas Plus purchase, restoration, and entitlement status, together with Service-specific billing identifiers
- When notifications are used, device identifiers, push notification tokens, permission status, time zone, notification frequency settings, and delivery/open records
- Analytics information about use of the app and website
- Technical information necessary for operation, security, and troubleshooting
Information is retained as necessary to provide and improve the Service. We do not state a fixed retention period unless one has been established for the relevant data. For push notifications, terminal delivery records and detached device registrations are generally scheduled for deletion after 30 days.
2. How We Use Information
We may use information to:
- Provide and operate the Service
- Authenticate users and manage or delete Ideas accounts
- Store and display Ideas and user history
- Verify Ideas Plus purchases, restoration, and entitlement status
- Register, configure, deliver, and verify delivery of push notifications where requested by the user
- Investigate issues and maintain service reliability
- Understand usage and improve the Service
- Conduct research and development where the user has explicitly agreed
- Prevent misuse and respond to security issues
3. Analytics
We use analytics tools to understand how the Service is used and to improve the product.
The website uses Google Analytics 4 and Google Tag Manager. The app uses Firebase Analytics.
App usage analytics is optional. It is enabled when you choose “Start and help improve Ideas” on the first-launch sheet or enable it in Settings, where you can disable it at any time. You can use Ideas by choosing “Start without analytics.” The Firebase Analytics SDK may handle app instance identifiers, sessions, device and app information, and automatic events.
Analytics events may include product interaction metadata such as the screen or surface used, the type of action taken, whether text or an image was involved, the stage of an Idea, and a random analytics Idea identifier used to relate events within the same Idea.
Our analytics events are designed not to intentionally include conversation text, AI response text, image contents or image URLs, public Share URLs or tokens, authentication tokens, Ideas account identifiers, names, or email addresses.
The Service is also configured not to use advertising identifiers or advertising personalization for analytics. We do not set our own user ID to track an Ideas account across services or devices for analytics purposes.
Analytics is separate from both Research Cooperation and Public Sharing described below.
4. Research Cooperation
We may invite users to voluntarily cooperate with research and development intended to improve Ideas and related services.
Research Cooperation is off by default and becomes active only when the user explicitly enables it.
As a general rule, only Ideas started after Research Cooperation has been enabled may become eligible for research use. Ideas started before the setting was enabled do not automatically become research-eligible later.
Information made eligible through Research Cooperation may be used for purposes including:
- Improving Ideas and related services
- Research concerning AI and conversational experiences
- Developing new features and services
- Exploring and developing future services, including services for businesses
The purpose of this cooperation is not to provide individual users’ conversation content itself to business customers or other third parties.
Users may change the Research Cooperation setting later in the app.
5. Public Sharing
Users may create public Share links for their Ideas.
Once a public link is created, people who know the URL may be able to view the shared content. Users should avoid sharing personal information or information that infringes the rights of others.
The setting “Share with other Ideas users” is separate from the existence of a public Share link.
Turning this setting off does not revoke an already-created public URL.
Deleting the related Idea also removes the associated Share records, after which the public URL will no longer be available.
6. Third-Party Services
We use third-party services to operate and provide the Service. These currently include services such as:
- Google Analytics 4 / Google Tag Manager
- Firebase (including authentication and analytics)
- Google Sign-In
- Sign in with Apple / Apple App Store
- Google AI-related services (including Gemini)
- RevenueCat
- Expo Push Service
- Fly.io
- Cloud storage services
Text and photos submitted in AI conversations are sent through the Ideas server to Google Gemini to generate responses. Previous messages and the photo that started the exploration may also be sent as conversation context. Apple App Store and RevenueCat process information needed to purchase, restore, and verify Ideas Plus entitlement status, and Expo Push Service processes information needed to deliver push notifications.
Information processed through these services may also be handled in accordance with the terms and privacy policies of the relevant providers. Plus verification uses a billing identifier separate from history, billing verification information received from the device, and subscription identifiers, status, and verification times. These records verify access on multiple devices where the server has verified the same currently valid subscription. Sign-in, sign-out, and Guest history deletion do not delete this device’s billing identifier or subscription verification records. The Service does not directly collect users’ payment card details.
7. User Controls
Depending on the feature, users may:
- Enable or disable app usage analytics
- Enable or disable Research Cooperation
- Change or disable push notification frequency
- Change discoverability settings for public Shares
- Delete an Idea
- Delete a signed-in Ideas account
- Delete this device’s Guest data through a separate operation
Deleting an Idea also deletes associated conversation and Share information. Deleting an Idea does not restore consumed monthly free uses. Minimal records of the usage subject, month, and consumption status are kept to calculate the free allowance. Guest data deletion removes that Guest’s stored conversations, images, Shares, Research Cooperation settings, and usage records, and detaches Guest notification registration. It does not delete a signed-in account or purchases. Deleting an Ideas account deletes Ideas, conversations, images, Shares, Research Cooperation settings, and Ideas Plus entitlement information stored for that account, and initiates deletion of the Ideas authentication account. Guest history and Guest Research Cooperation settings created on the device before sign-in are not included in account deletion.
Deleting an Ideas account or the app does not automatically cancel an Ideas Plus subscription in the Apple App Store. Cancellation must be completed through App Store subscription management. Information retained by third-party providers such as Apple, Google, or RevenueCat is handled under their terms, privacy policies, and applicable law.
Certain information may be retained where required by law or where reasonably necessary for operation of the Service.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy as the Service or applicable requirements change.
If a material change is made, we will provide notice through the Service or another appropriate method.
9. Contact
Questions regarding this Privacy Policy or our handling of information can be submitted through the Contact page of the Service.
